Polyanna — Polymarket Intelligence

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Polyanna.

What is Polyanna?

Polyanna is a data analytics platform that aggregates and analyzes publicly available trading data from Polymarket, the largest prediction market on the Polygon blockchain. We provide leaderboards, trader profiles, market signals, bot detection, and historical trade analysis.

Where does the data come from?

All trading data is sourced directly from on-chain transactions on the Polygon blockchain. We index fill events via Goldsky subgraph indexers and supplement with market metadata from the Gamma API. The data is publicly available to anyone with a blockchain explorer — we simply organize and analyze it.

How are leaderboard rankings calculated?

Leaderboards rank traders across multiple categories including consistency, trading volume, profit and loss (PnL), return on investment (ROI), and risk-adjusted performance. Rankings are calculated from indexed on-chain fills and are available across 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, and all-time windows, with a few specialty tabs restricted to all time.

What is bot detection?

Our bot detection system uses heuristic analysis of trading patterns — including trade frequency, timing, order sizes, and market participation — to classify wallets as likely bots or human traders. These classifications are probabilistic estimates and may not be accurate in all cases.

Is Polyanna free to use?

Leaderboards, public trader profiles, and documentation are available without an account. Sign in with a free account to unlock Copyable Traders, the full Analysis section on trader profiles, and account tools like API key management. Pro subscribers also get data export (CSV/JSON), advanced leaderboard filters, a personal watchlist, and real-time trade alerts via Telegram, email, or webhook.

Do I need an account to use Polyanna?

You can browse leaderboards and public profile summaries without an account. Sign in with a free account to unlock Copyable Traders, trader profile analysis, and your account dashboard. Upgrade to Pro for data export, advanced filters, watchlist, and real-time trade alerts.

What does Polyanna add beyond the raw Polymarket profile?

Polymarket shows your raw positions and trade history. Polyanna turns on-chain fills into one readable analysis surface: market signals, performance breakdowns, strategy clues, bot-behavior context, and risk signals. You get best and weakest signals, official market context, biggest wins and losses, strategy profile, bot signal breakdowns, drawdowns, and recovery behavior — all in one page focused on interpretation rather than raw data.

What are Market Signals?

Market Signals combine official Polymarket context with inferred keywords and short phrases to show where a trader has historically outperformed or underperformed the profiled baseline on Polyanna.

Is Polyanna financial advice?

No. Polyanna is a data analytics tool, not a financial advisory service. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or trading advice. You should not make trading decisions based solely on information displayed on Polyanna. Always do your own research.

Why do some traders have random nicknames like "Quarrelsome-Improvement"?

Polymarket auto-generates adjective-noun pseudonyms for users who never set a display name. These pseudonyms are returned by the Polymarket API even though the Polymarket website often shows a wallet address instead. Polyanna displays whatever name the API provides, so you may see a generated nickname here that doesn't appear on the trader's Polymarket profile page.

How often is the data updated?

Our live collector polls for new fill events continuously. Leaderboard rankings and trader profiles are refreshed every 3 hours. There may be minor delays between on-chain transactions and their appearance on Polyanna due to indexing and processing time.

How do you verify data completeness?

After every enrichment cycle, we run automated cross-checks against Polymarket's Data API. We sample random traders and compare our indexed fill set (sourced from Goldsky on-chain subgraph indexers) against Polymarket's own records — verifying transaction hashes, trade counts, and volume accuracy. The green/yellow/red indicator on the home page reflects the result of the most recent check.

What is the extent of the data?

Polyanna includes all fill events since the launch of CLOB V2 on Polymarket, up to the present. The collector continuously ingests new events, so coverage is kept current.

How long are trader profiles retained?

A trader's profile is available as long as they appear on any leaderboard. Once a trader drops off all leaderboards, their profile is retained for 7 days before being removed.

Who operates Polyanna?

Polyanna is operated by MissingLayer B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.
